I agree it would be far better to have the script run the server itself, but I think I may have hit a limitation with the After Effects scripting environment here: any system calls block script execution until the called program has finished... meaning you can't execute script AND have the Server jar opened automatically at the same time. I can't help feeling there must be a solution to this though, anyone? This should guard the main system against disk-space problems.
